What is FunKe Science?
FunKe Science is a Kenyan science education company that helps children understand science by doing it. We create experiment kits, videos and programmes for homes, schools and communities.
What ages are the kits designed for?
Most kits are designed for children aged 4–14. The recommended age and supervision level are shown on each product. Camps and other programmes may serve a wider age range.
Are the activities curriculum-aligned?
Our kits and programmes are designed to support Kenya’s competency-based curriculum. We can also adapt school programmes for British, Montessori and international systems.
Do I need a science background to help my child?
No. The instructions explain each activity in plain language, and many kits include QR-linked video guidance.
