FunKe Science kicked off the new year by reflecting on cherished memories created throughout the past year, relishing every moment like the STEM Africa festival, “Bring your child to work day” and applying physics to a moving car event.

To cap off the nostalgia, we had the privilege of witnessing an awe-inspiring planetary parade- a truly spectacular scientific event on its own

Did you watch this magnificent celestial display? If so where did you watch it from?

The celestial display could have been viewd using a telescope, binoculars and camera but the telescope offered a clear vision of how the planets are displayed.

This celestial display featured an alignment of planets including Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, Jupiter and Mars, all strung together in a mesmerizing cosmic dance. The extraordinary parade ,which began on January 21, reached its peak on January 29 with Mercury making its appearance towards the end of the month. It was and still is an unforgettable spectacle that reminds us of the vast wonders of our universe leaving us all in awe of the celestial symphony unfolding right above us. We look forward to seeing the next wonder the universe shall give us the pleasure of witnessing.
